What’s up with the lid?

So… I have two of these. One is “lion around,” and the other one is a “mermaid in the shade“
The lion one I purchased and put away because I was going to give it as a gift, but then I decided to keep it for myself LOL I hadn’t used it though. The mermaid one, I received as an early holiday present. I got excited I opened it, poured a drink in it and when I went to use it, I noticed that there is either something wrong with the cup, or there is something wrong with my lips LOL
as I drink, liquid dribbles down both sides of my mouth. I took off the lid wiped it and placed it back on the cup and had my son drink, and the same thing happened. This is the lid that has the little sliding mechanism. Out of curiosity, I decided to get the Lion around cup out and give it a try and I noticed that the lid is different! This is just an open hole to drink out of and it did not leak. Now, I don’t know if my “mermaid in the shade” cover is faulty or if it’s an overall design flaw but I’ve now had to use it only without the lid..., judging by the five star reviews I would say that it is a design flaw in the new lids. I’m glad I didn’t give one as a present because you’re paying $30 with tax for a “sippy cup,” you expect it to be better :-(

These would fun on the boat! For now, while it’s winter, I’m using mine to keep a glass of water by the bed, that is cheerful to look at, and I won’t spill in the middle of the night!

This travel tumbler is awesome! I got the gifts with purchase tumblers awhile back, and these are made way better! The lids are much nicer and fit the cup without spilling.

Lilly Pulitzer this has to be one of your most beautiful prints Ever- Blue Coastal Lion! PLEASE give us some 70" round table cloths in the gorgeous pattern. The blue's will be so perfect at the pool! One of your Florida Lilly Lovers we are at the pool all year long and I never find table cloths in prints as beautiful as Lilly and this Blue Coastal Lion is the BEST! These glasses are the BEST!!!!!
