Ready for the holidays and more

I normally wear a 12/14 depending on the shoulders. I fit in both the Lg an XL. I love it with a jean jacket but it is very low cut so be prepared to adjust if you need to. Fabric is super soft.

I originally got a Large because other reviews said the fabric had no give. I found it to have plenty of stretch to it, so sized back to my normal size of a Medium. Pics make it look like a more forest green, but it’s more Christmas green in person. I’ll be adding a clasp to the bust as I typically do with these style of dresses. For reference, I’m 5’8” / 180 lbs / 36DDD.

I bought one size larger than I usually wear because so many reviews said it ran small. However, when I got it in the mail and tried it on, I realized that I do need my usual size (XS) so I exchanged it. The deep green fabric is beautiful, lightweight, and moves fluidly. The wrap part of the lower dress part is an illusion - behind it is a full fabric panel; it doesn't open to show your legs. If you are small-busted like I am, the v-neck is a bit deep but not a real issue. The banding at the high waist has some stretch and give; I did not find it too tight. The shimmer in the fabric catches the light as you move. It is a pretty, feminine dress - just right for the holidays or special event!

My husband’s response when I tried it on - looks like an old lady dress. That’s certainly not what I think of with Lilly Pulitzer but it was very unflattering. I’m 5’3” 114 pounds for reference. It came below my knee and the sleeves are too full. Kind of like the dress was wearing me instead of me wearing it. Too much material and too fluffy to be flattering on me.
