Sabrinah Midi Dress

there are some issues with this dress....so I completely understand the less than stellar reviews. First, this dress is definitely not worth the high price tag. The material is very thin and flimsy. And, it's not lined...which it should be for the price. Second, the straps are not adjustable so if you don't have broad shoulders, this will become an issue. Third, the lining at the bust keeps showing through just a bit so you'll have to do a very careful ironing job to get it to lay flat. You will also have to iron the lower half because it's wrinkly fabric. Fourth, although it has slightly padded cups, there is no support at all...so you may have to wear a strapless bra anyway. Lastly, if you're busty...this dress probably won't work for you. It's low cut and perfect for smaller busts. All this being said...this dress is really sexy and pretty. You're going to turn heads with this on. Actually, you might get "mauled" so beware ladies!! The print is lovely and soft, the dress is flowy and comfortable, the shape is very flattering...my recommendation is to try it. Personally, I love it! The best part is that I didn't have to have it hemmed - it is a true midi on me. I really wish Lilly would improve this style by making the material chiffon or silk...that would truly take this dress to a new level. For sizing reference, I am 5'6", 138 pounds with a 34C bust. I tend to carry weight in my lower half so I'm curvy there. I got a Size 4 and it fit perfectly. I do have broad shoulders so I have no problem with the straps. I love the flowy comfortable style.

I was very disappointed with this dress. I wish you could adjust the straps first off. Dress was way too loose (like a swing dress) and too sheer for my liking. For the price, this is a miss all around for me.

I love this dress, it is pretty and a nice dress up or down dress. I am short and read the other reviews on it running long and it is more of a maxi on me, but hits at the right spot so no alterations needed.

I bought this a few weeks ago - VERY pretty. The colors are more vibrant in person! This dress would be great to wear to the beach or on a hot summer day - the material is incredibly lightweight and the fit is easy-breezy and flowy. I have one constructive critique - its very much a mid/lower calf length dress. Although it almost looks ankle length on one of the models... its definitely shorter than that. I do think it would be more universally flattering if it was a full length maxi dress! Also, a larger chested woman might not enjoy this dress - the bust is pretty fitted and there are no adjustable straps. This would be very pretty for an upscale beachy function.

This dress seemed to be of good quality, but it wasn’t at all what I was hoping for. The fabric is very light and felt like wearing a nightdress, and it also has a much fuller skirt than I expected for the shape. Lastly, this is NOT going to accommodate large busts. I’m a DD and this was downright obscene on me. If you’re curvy or busty, avoid avoid avoid!! This would be darling on someone who isn’t as well-endowed though!

I just bought this dress and can’t wait until this pandemic is over to be able to wear it out!! Length is perfect and fit is spot on!!

Love this dress. Cannot wait to wear it. It does run a little big in the bust, however, it's worth the alterations in lieu of returning.

This dress is fantastic! It is true to size. I bought what would be my normal size but probably could have sized down one. I was concerned since there is no zipper that a dress that is not knit would be hard to get over my chest. This is so pretty. I'm short, so the midi dress is actually a maxi dress on me, but for once I don't have to have it shortened! The one challenge I have is with the lining up top. I appreciate the pads so I can skip a bra, but the lining is white and keeps popping up above the print. I'm going to play with a bit to see if I can tack it down somehow. With that said, I LOVE this dress! I can see myself wearing it a lot this summer!
