Uncharacteristically too long

I really wanted to love this dress, but it just didn't work. I sized down to XXS from my usual XS as I typically do with these more flowy styles, and the top part fit great. The collar is subtle but gives it a fun, preppy look. However, the dress is too long, which is not something I ever thought I'd encounter with Lilly. I'm admittedly petite, but this dress hits right at the center of my knee cap, which makes it look frumpy with the big ruffle there. Also, the green is just a little too "neon lime" for me. I considered exchanging for another color, but decided it wasn't worth that hassle plus the extra effort of hemming it. So, I am sadly returning :(

This dress is so cute on. The A line fit is very flattering. The color is vibrant. The fabric is light weight but not see through. Arm hole a little big. I love this dress
