Parigi Maxi Dress

I have to admit, I did not like this dress at first. It was on sale, so I thought I'd try it. Boy am I glad I did! It's surprisingly flirty- the back and the front are equally low cut, which is fun. The one thing I will say is there is not much room for hem. So if you're a shorty like me, make sure you're not going to have to take off TOO much of the hem. Perhaps have your seamstress take it up at the waist.

I am 5’6” and the dress is very long. The dress is expensive enough to pay for alterations, and hemming would lose the most of the contrasting print. Lily, please read the reviews and come up with regular and tall sizes. The print is otherwise gorgeous and I love the style. Very sad I can’t keep it only because of its length.

I love my Parigi dresses, but they are always way too long. This one would lose the entire bottom design and contrasting color if it were shortened. Lilly, please read the reviews!

This is a beautiful print. However, at 5'5" the dress was insanely long on me. Hemming would have required the removal of most of the contrasting print, thus losing the character of the dress itself. Returned. Come on Lilly, the average US woman is 5'4". Your dresses are already expensive, adding on the cost of professional alterations is not consumer friendly. Come out with Tall sizes instead!

Love the dress, wore to a wedding. I had to pin the shoulders to my bra strap because they wanted to fall off, but there is also a strap holder, if you are wearing a bra that you can run the strap thru the dress...I also pinned the bodice a bit, for modesty. I wanted a little lace there but didn't have time to sew. If you are wondering what to wear underneath it, I went to Kohl's and tried on every undergarment known to women, and finally settled on a simple knock off brand of Spanks skirt style. Everything else was just too much going on. A simple bra, undies and spanks style skirt like undergarment. The waist is a bit of an empire waist, I was able to pull it down some but, it can make you look pregnant if you have a bit of tummy there. I am rather flat tummied, I carry my weight in my hips. I felt the dress was very flattering. Oh, as far as see through, it is not at all see thru but, if you were to open your legs with the sun behind you I think your legs would show as shadow and it might show you were not wearing a slip. That is why I opted for the skirt style undergarment. I bought matching Lilly P wedges, and also brought a pair of Crocs Crocband flipflops in turquoise, from Amazon, which were perfect and comfortable. Also, I am 5'9 and the length was really perfect. I would say it's longer than shorter. The pattern would not be ruined if you hemmed it up a bit either. I feel like I am going to get a lot of wear out of this dress. Lots of compliments. In the picture, the wind is blowing the bottom half that's why it looks crooked lol.

I went on a quest for this dress, and I’m so happy I was able to find one. It is bigger in my shoulder area. I had to keep an eye on my bra straps.

I bought this beautiful dress for a wedding, and it was one of the most comfortable dresses I've ever warn. I was worried that my bra strap would show with such a low cut back, but it didn't. It was perfect in every way, and I got so many compliments! Very flattering cut! I'm 5'5", and normally wear a 14 in dress size. I'm more curvy in the hips and legs, and the Large fit me perfectly. A medium heel, and the dress was just the right length.
