Martina Maxi Dress

I purchased this dress recently and absolutely love it but due to the cut I had to return it. I purchased an XL and it fit wonderful but very long as expected. For reference I am about 5'2 195lbs pear/hourglass shape and 34DDD so needless to say I need to wear some type of bra with a dress regardless of the style. Sadly with this dress I was not able to wear a strapless bra or regular bra with out it showing. This dress claims to have a type of built in bra cup into the dress, which I felt was no more than some small tiny pads that would basically be like a nip cover and the supposed cups would offer absolutely no support to probably anyone bigger than an A or small B cup. The "arm hole" areas on this dress are cut way to large in my opinion as most seem to be now a days to the point that you can't wear a bra with out it showing or you have what I call your "armpit fat" hanging out or exposed. Sadly I wish designers would start taking this more into consideration. If i was able to wear a strapless bra and have this dress properly cover it like it should have then I would have kept this dress. The fabric on this dress also felt a little thick and heavy but that could have been because it was so long as well. Love that it had the adjustable neck tie as I find many that are not adjustable to be too long. So sad that I had to return this dress because I loved the print as well.

This dress is very flattering! I love the halter neckline, and it is nice to finally have a maxi dress that is not low-cut like so many of my other Lilly dresses. I did have to get it hemmed, but better too long than too short. I purchased a size small and typically wear size small in the Sloane maxi dress. For reference, I am 5'7", 145 pounds, 36 B, and pear-shaped. Please make this in more prints Lilly!

Just bought this beauty at a store in Cape Cod!! It’s soooo pretty!! I can’t wait to wear it for a party next month! The print is gorgeous!! It’s better in person! There is a peek hole in the back!!

This dress is really gorgeous in person and it fits really well too. However, it's not exactly as it's pictured on the website. There is no keyhole in the top in person. Hopefully they'll update the photo because I really liked the peek-a-boo feature.
