Marli Dress

I found the multi postcard pattern of the dress not as attractive as other patterns, and not vivid, more muted. The stripes at the bottom are vivid as pictured. I am 5'4" and my usual size 4 in Lilly (Ashlyn and Keali) for this dress fits (just a bit loose). I didn't find the bows on the waist side flattering and they are only decorative. Good silhouette and length for the office.

I wore this dress in Mexico. I received a complement from another woman. Perfect “summery” looking dress. It’s lined and fabric is a very nice quality.

The Perfect Shape!

Not what I expected

First thing I noticed when I opened the box was the colors were more like a muted blue than the beautiful, vibrant turquoise and teal shade on the LP website. And the yellow of the lemons looks more chartreuse. So disappointing, and honestly ugly. And to that the lining that is clingy when the dress itself was loose. It went back and this customer is super disappointed.

Beautiful! So many compliments

I recently wore this dress on vacation and received so many compliments! I had been looking forward to the Positano print for a while and had to splurge. I don't have a Lilly store nearby (Colorado problems) so wasn't sure what size to order in this new style. I bought a 10 (my preferred classic shift size, 1 size larger than the fit calculator suggested) and think I chose the perfect size. When trying on, the elastic waist seemed to ride up a little and I personally think it would be just fine without the elastic, but when wearing it didn't seem to be an issue - I was worried I'd be constantly pulling it down. My only slight criticism is due to the weave of this specific fabric it catches on jewellery really easily! I managed to catch a bracelet on the side, which was a shame. Though despite this I'm still really pleased with my investment and hope to wear this for years to come!

I was so excited to see more of the old classic Lilly prints! Not a fan of the super neon. Just not what Lilly tradition is to me.
