Frumpy Dress

It’s an ok dress. I read the reviews snd decided to order a size down. I little tight in the chest area, but I was concerned that my reg size would make the dress look like a tent. The dress hits right above the knee cap which makes the dress look frumpy. It’s just a cotton dress for 100. Dollar. Nice colors.

Fun pattern, runs long

I love the print and cute tassels at the tie neck but this dress is too long to be flattering for most average-height people in my opinion (fell at the knee on me before alterations). Clearly, it's a flowing swing dress so I knew that it would be really roomy but that was the look I was going for. I had to have it hemmed over 2 inches just to make it not look frumpy (hemmed in pink/light blue photo). For reference, I'm 5'4"/107#/32A and I bought my usual XXS so sizing down isn't an option, but buying the Girls size XL looks pretty much the same and I didn't have to spend a third of the cost of the dress to alter it (Mini Alek dress in the navy/lilac photo) - note: the Girl's fabric is thinner than the women's fabric.
