I went to my local Lilly Pulitzer store specifically to try on/buy the Malone Maxi in the Las Olas Aqua Strong Current Sea print. I was so disappointed to find this dress shapeless and heavy. I loved the print though. The store clerk then showed me the Chilly Lilly dress in the same print and I was shocked that I loved the fit and feel of the fabric. Even though it has longer sleeves, it was very comfortable. Thankful to the knowledgeable store clerk who knew what to suggest based on my body type and print likes.

This fits my curvy figure beautifully in the xxl size. It was comfortable but also very flattering! I am bustier and didn't feel like this was tight in my chest. I had the perfect amount of ease through the body. Very happy!

Perfect summer Maxi for Heat/ Humidity

Ordered with a little hesitation due to the reviews of this dress being way too much fabric. But so GLAD I GOT IT! Yes, there is an increase in fabric as you get nearer the hem. But for me, I think it's very pretty. It's floaty and graceful. Perfect for summer or as we call it here, Hades' Back Porch. All cotton, nice light knit. I found the bodice to be very flattering and the ruffles at the neckline help balance the volume of the skirt. I really am happy with it. Not too low cut ( am I the only one who has sewn up necklines on Lilly clothes? ) and a Las Olas Strong Current Seas is very pretty. Looking forward to wearing it once I wash it. It came out of the package with a strong scent. Not unpleasant mind you, just very Laundry Detergent strong. I ordered a M and usually take a L in most Lilly. Happy that I sized down a touch.

I wasn’t sure if this dress would work for me. I’m 5’4” with a full bust (34F) and a size 29 jean. The medium fit perfectly, is so flattering, and incredibly comfy thanks to the soft jersey. I don’t need a belt and the length works without alteration. Beautiful Lily print. Highly rec for a variety of body types.

This is the perfect summer dress. It runs very large. I’m usually a L and sometimes a XL (size 14 and sometimes 16) and I bought a medium based on the reviews. The medium fits perfectly and I probably could have even gone with a small. I can’t wait for all the occasions for which I will wear this dress.

Love this dress! It is very comfortable and extremely flattering. I receive many compliments every time I wear it! I did sized down- normally wear a size 6 - medium or some smalls in Lilly and purchased this in an xs. I am 140 lbs 5'2 and a D cup. Length is perfect and i do not feel the top is too tight or revealing!

I have this in a print from last summer and now in navy. I get lots of compliments when I wear them. I am 5'4" 36 D and needed to size down to a small because the skirt is a lot of material. A medium was too long and looked like a mumu. The cotton is nice and stretchy in the bust which makes the small work. Pick your size based on bust measurement only, very roomy in waist and hips.

I was so excited when I saw the Malone dress this season! I have every print of the Malone and so does my Mother in Law. I like the solid color because I can wear it to work but I so love the patterns. Would love to see this come out in the Lunar Blue Palm Beach Petals for the spring! Keep the Malone's coming, I can not get enough of them. They are perfect for Florida weather.

I bought this dress last week in the navy. I did size down one and it fits great! I love all the extra fabric though as that’s the point of the design. It looks so flattering and super comfortable. The neckline is amazing. I’d also love this in more solid colors! I have so many printed dresses and I’m really wanting to round things out with some morr neutral colors.

I loved this in the solid color navy. It does run big. I normally am an xs in sleeveless items. I ended up getting the xxs. I wish this came in numbered sizes. It was as if I was between the xs and xxs. The xs fit in the chest better but the swing fit below the waist was not flattering and looked like a maternity dress on me. It had too much excess fabric. The xxs was a little snug in the chest but had a better and more flattering fit below the waist so that was the size I chose. For reference I am 124 lbs., 5’6”, 34 B. Please make in black and other solid colors!

I like this maxi more than I thought I would. Currently pregnant and I wanted something I can wear now and later and this fit the bill perfectly! I went with my normal size XS and bc of the cotton blend, this has enough stretch to accommodate everything nicely. Also love that the length is just right on my 5'3" frame. Definitely recommend.

I absolutely loved the dress, but I am 5'3" and there was way too much fabric for my frame. With 3" heels, the length would have been fine, but I wanted to be able to wear with flats. If it were shorter, I would have lived with the super full skirt. Maybe the XXS would have worked better - but it is sold out. Very sad to send it back.

I recently purchased the Lilly Pulitzer Malone dress and I must say, I am in love! Not only does it fit me perfectly, but it is also versatile and can easily be dressed up or down. I also appreciate the length of this dress - it falls just above my knees, making it appropriate for various occasions.
As a plus size person, it can often be a challenge to find fashionable clothing that fits properly. However, the Malone dress is a true representation of size inclusion - it hugged my curves in all the right places without being too tight or uncomfortable

Definitely runs big! I would recommend sizing down 1 size. I bought a size large. I am 5ft 4inches, 38B, 190lbs. I loved the material and feel of this dress, but wished I would have sized down to a medium instead. It was way too long on me, but I was able to alter it to the correct length.

This dress is the perfect addition to my spring/summer wardrobe. It's even more beautiful in person and the colors are so vibrant. While reviews indicate it's runs a little big, I still opted for my normal size Large. I didn't want to size down and run the risk of it being too snug across the chest. I'm 5'5" and 34DDD. Instead I had it altered ever so slightly and it's perfect. Looking forward to more Malone dresses in the future!
