Lilly Pulitzer x Badgley Mischka Heather Sequin Shift Dress

I fell madly in love with this dress from the instant I saw the pictures of it, and I’m so glad I splurged and snapped it up because it would’ve haunted me if I hadn’t! Didn’t even want to take it off after receiving it and trying it on to make sure it fit! It’s absolutely perfect to wear to a spring/summer wedding or cocktail party. But even better is that the sequins aren’t so sparkly that I’d reserve this dress only for a very dressy event - I think I’d feel perfectly comfortable wearing it for date night or even brunch at a nice restaurant. (The original pics in the description are pretty accurate in terms of the colors and sparkle - this isn’t one of those frequent cases where the garment is far more bright in person.) I’m just sorry my terrible pics don’t capture how beautiful and flattering this dress is! For reference, I’m 5’2”, about 110lbs, bra 32-34C. Ordered sizes 2 and 4 since I didn’t want to miss out in case one didn’t fit; as it turned out, I only tried on the size 2, and it’s perfect - just a tad bit of room to spare in case I regain a few pounds, but not so much that it looks too big.

Absolutely gorgeous. Much lighter and softer than other sequin shifts I have from Lilly. Definitely runs small. I am a 2 in the Mila shift, got the Axlee sequin shift from last season in a 0. I sized up to a 4 in this dress and it fits perfectly. I’m 5’2”, 120 lbs, bra 32F.
