Kalinara Skirted Romper

I'm normally a 12 or 14 in Lilly rompers. The 14s usually work best because I have a long toros so I need the length but they're always a bit baggy on me through the bust/waist area. I bought a 14 in this romper and it was soooo tight. Once I got to my bustline I couldn't zip it up any farther. It was so short that my butt cheeks were literally hanging out the back and I've never had the happen with any Lilly rompers ever. On top of that the liner shorts were longer than the actual romper itself and showed out the bottom. Lilly is always a bit all over the place with sizing, but I've never experienced them being this far off before. The fabric quality is so gorgeous and the cut is very complimentary. I really thought I was going to love this romper so much that I was willing to splurge and buy it at full price but yikes! Super dissapointed. I may try the 16, but the 14 had a lot of extra fabric for me at the top (past the bust) so I'm afraid going a size up the straps/upper back part will be way too loose and stand up off my shoulders.

I'm so happy that I bought this dress, it is so delicate and sexy. The girl who helped me was so sweet.

This is adorable on! Fabric is very cute and on trend. I am traditionally a size 6-8 in Lilly but had to size up to a 10, as the fabric does not stretch. Looks like a true dress in the front & back (vs showing a skort/short in the back). Be ready, it is short but being a skort makes it great!
