Jesse Romper

Love the print in classic Lilly fashion. I have noticed the zippers used lately are not that great of quality. I hope the desire for lower production costs don’t start to impact quality.

I thought I’d just share a quick story about this romper, I was having a really awful Saturday and thought some Sunday shopping with my boyfriend could help, I had ALWAYS wanted a Lilly dress and figured this was the day to treat myself..I walked in and saw a couple cute dresses but then I saw this one and I swear it was like it was meant to be! So I grabbed 2 different sizes since I had never shopped here I had no clue what the cut of the fabric was going to be like.... I go to the dressing room and go to grab, what I thought was the bigger of the 2 rompers, and when putting it on, THINKING it was a dress, I put both legs in a shorts hole and I was like oh okay maybe they’re cut really small but then I saw that it was just a romper and although no one was there I legit was so embarrassed hahaha! But I truly love this dress romper and think it’s one of the best ones they’ve put out!

I bought this romper after I purchased the Madison skort in the same print. This remix is a lot of my favorite prints all in one. Love the rick rack detail.

I love this romper! It looks like a dress but with the coverage of shorts underneath. Ran true to size for me. The added stretch panels on the upper torso portion make the romper even more comfortable since the chest is usually the limiting factor for me in lilly.

I walked into the Avalon NJ store and all of the employees were wearing this romper! Girls of vary sizes and shapes and this looked darling on ALL of them! It was at that point I decided to try it on! It fits true to size and was just the right length for me...I’m much older than the girls that were working there. The straps were a little small to cover up my bra straps but you could probably get away with it if you had the right color bra. There are so many ways you could style this! I’m so excited to wear it while I’m on vacation and after I get home!! This patchwork print makes me so nostalgic! Love love love!

I really, really wanted this romper when I saw it online.... Thankfully I went to closest Lilly store and tried it on. I’m being serious when I say I think it only looks nice on people size 6/8 or less. It was extremely unflattering on me. I wear a 12 in the Donna romper, tried on a 14 in the Jesse and it fit, it just looked ugly. I’m going outside my comfort zone and will include a picture. Ugh. This is the first “no” Lilly review I’ve ever had to leave.

The patchwork print is one of the prettiest to date in my opinion! The romper style feels perfect to go from casual day time to date night. I think it runs true to size but may look slightly wide in the hips area if you are lacking in that department like me. I still love it and the fact I can look a bit dressier and put together even while trying to keep up with my 4 boys.

Returning. I have two others from the past and this one is poorly made in the top in front too big pokes out

I love that it is structured like a shift dress but you get the ease and comfort of wearing shorts! This fits true to size for me, I took my normal romper size (ie. took the same size as my Donna's). I maybe could have even sized down but it would have been too short in the torso. Straps are adjustable, which was a huge plus. Not bra friendly but I am able to get away with not wearing a bra since it is a more structured fit like a shift dress (I am a D). I absolutely love the mix of all these fun prints! Definitely a special collectors print that I will cherish.
