Palm Beach Silk Maxi Dress

The Lilly Store that I always shop ordered this dress for me, I had not seen it in person. I went to pick it up when it came in this week It is so beautiful, so feminine and a perfect fit. I only needed to hem it .25 inch, I didn't want to take it off, I felt as if I were lounging in the tropics or mingling at a summer gala. This is quintessential Lilly at its best. This dress does not disappoint and it is a head turner.

I was hesitant to buy this dress at first because of the price. However, I’m so glad I did! It’s one of my favorite Lilly pieces ever! Everything about this dress is perfection!

This is the best Lilly piece I've gotten...being a size 14 I was of course skeptical. I WORKED. I am super busty and it still flatters so well! BUY IT

So, I am size 6 in LLP shorts. I am 5.4 and my weight is sadly 140 pounds. My bra size is 34C in VS. I always try to lose weight, but never succeed. Anyhow, I ordered this dress in size 8 first and it was small. I tried size 14 in the store and it was too big. I tried size 10 today. It barely fits me in the rib cage, which means i have to go back to the gym. But I am willing too for this Beautiful Dress. It makes look like a Million Dollar Movie Star. As long as I don't eat another burger or eat a cupcake... It flows so beautifully and even with my in between Petite and Normal height with the 5 inch wedges - I can pull it off. I love the front of the dress, the pleats... the design is Gorgeous! Go for it, if you can find your correct size. I can't wait to wear it for a fancy dinner or fundraiser or a party!!! So glamorous!!!!

I own LOTs of Lilly dresses and especially like some of the new maxi dresses. This one is a dud. It’s not particularly flattering or well made. The silk fabric is sheer and the dress is unlined making it appear cheap. I’m a slim hourglass and found the waistline of this dress to be very unflattering. I’m 5’8 and thought this dress was bulky for lack of a better word. The print is really pretty and I love the buttons down the sides but otherwise have nothing positive to say about this item.

thought about this dress for a whole month (the price...yikes!) but finally purchased it to just see how it fit...and it's pretty amazing! can't wait to wear this to a beach wedding in the spring!

I planned to just try this on for fun because I liked the print. However, after I put it on I had to have it! I am short-waisted so this fits me really well through the torso. If you are long-waisted, this may not be the dress for you. I love the silk, it drapes beautifully and flows while you are walking. Since I am only 5'2" I did have to hem it, but that's one of the downfalls of being vertically challenged.. I love the flutter cap sleeves, the pleats in the front I find flattering and the buttons on the sides I adore. I can see they are running low on inventory, so if you are thinking about this dress get it! I hope they will make this style maxi in another beautiful print.

What a showstopper! The silk feels amazing, and the silhouette is really beautiful and subtly feminine and flattering. I loved that the buttons at the neck and side seam let you control how much skin you want to show.
