Edita Embellished Stretch Shift Dress

This dress is elegant, however, it does NOT STRETCH and it very narrow across the chest.

I'm between a 6 and 8 and the 6 fit perfectly and it's very flattering. I love the textured fabric, it looks and the stones are just enough, not too much. Love the pockets too!

Comfortable, versatile, classic. This can be worn for many events and transitioning into different seasons!

This dress could be amazing, but it unfortunately falls short. For reference: 5'5", 34D, 30" waist, 37" hip, 135# with a pretty even weight distribution between top and bottom with my chest being a little larger than my butt. In their low-rise or regular rise shorts I wear a 2, in the things with stretch usually an XS, and in snug things with zero stretch a 4 or S. I bought this dress in a 2 since it's loose-fitting. Onto this specific dress--the arm holes are a bit too small, but it fits comfortably over my chest (not too tight). The bigger issue is the rest. I understand it's a shift dress, but why is it so tight at the top and so baggy through the middle and bottom? If it's supposed to be straight, I'd expect it to be more snug/slim through the middle and bottom. Because of the way it hangs off my chest and goes straight down, it kind of gives a maternity vibe, which I don't love for me. I bought it final sale, so I'm going to try belting it to see if it looks good/helps. And of course, I LOVE that it has pockets.
