Easley T-Shirt Dress

Beautiful fit 5”5 160 pound size L. It fit perfectly not snug at all.

I am a first time customer and ordered this dress and immediately ordered two more, I was quickly becoming a fan of Lilly Pulitzer, the dresses were so cute and comfortable. That obsession quickly faded today when I called to exchange the first dress for a smaller size. I rarely take the time to write reviews. Today warranted me taking the time to write this review. The one star rating is for return policy that is not disclosed until you go to exchange. I am a first time customer, I bought a medium in the Easley T-Shirt Dress but once I received it I debated if it was a little big. So a week later I bought two different style dresses in other sizes to see how Lilly Pulitzer dresses fit on me and upon trying on the other dresses I realized I should go down to a small in the Easley T-Shirt Dress. I called to exchange the original dress for a small and was told because it's been 20 days there is a $7 deduction from my refund even though I want to exchange it for another size. Apparently you need to return/exchange within 15 days. This $7 fee is not disclosed in my original confirmation email and no packing slip came with the dress disclosing this policy. I politely explained that I was a first time customer and was not aware of the 15 day return policy and I was told that I should have read the FAQs beforehand (what??) and because it's been 20 days there are no exceptions. That is terrible customer service to make a brand new customer this upset over $7! I was told I could return at a store and the $7 would be waived but the nearest store is a one hour one-way drive for me. Had a store been closer I would not have ordered online in the fist place as I never know how something will fit. I was also told there is no one available that can waive that fee, it's their strict policy. I was also told I can be put on a call back list from a supervisor if I wish but it will be up to five days before they will call me back. Again, terrible customer service to make a customer wait five days for a callback (and with a 15 day return policy!). The dress itself is cute, and very comfortable. I don't really like the ties around the arms but can tuck it under. It is a little too low of a plunge as other reviews have noted, it needs to be stitched up about an inch but I was hoping the smaller size would resolve that. For those two reasons I would give the dress four stars. The one star on this review is for the terrible customer service policy of a 15 day return or face a $7 fee, that's 7 percent of the cost of this dress! I went from being obsessed with how cute these dresses are to now probably never ordering from this company online again. Retail, absolutely, but their online exchange policy (that they do not disclose when you make a purchase) frankly has made me very reluctant to order from them again. Which is a shame because for the past two weeks I have been telling my friends how cute and comfortable these dresses were.

I love this dress! Many compliments. My boyfriend loved it.

I really wanted to like this dress but it ran more than a size small I sized up but the bust was too tight. The fabric has a lot of sizing and if you wash it, it will look like a rags. This is not Kily quality.

Loved this dress more than I thought I would! I got the Bermuda bag GWP and wanted to find matching dresses to wear with each cover, but didn’t want to spend too much. The Easley is so flattering and comfortable at the same time! I'm 5'3 1/2" and 125 lbs. and the XS is a perfect fit!

Cute dress. Lightweight. Vibrant Colors true to web photo. Size L is knee length on a 5' 9-1/2" height. From the other comments here and my delivery, the material fibers or the plastic sheet inside the fold seem to be impregnated with a perfume scent. If that is the case, I encourage Lilly to note it in the description as not everyone appreciates that.

Love the length of this dress and it fits nicely with room to breathe. The reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the plunging neckline (I will have to wear a cami) and the horrible smell that saturated it. LIlly, please stop using these toxic chemicals on your clothes! Some of us have multiple chemical sensitivities and get horribly sick from breathing in these scents!!!
