Dashielle Tweed Jacket

I loved the idea of this tweed jacket. The color is gorgeous. However, it did not work for me. A size 2 was too large and I am normally between a size 2 and 4. The closures are fussy hook and eyes that did not remain closed. The fabric on the arms gives the appearance of being pilled because some of the threads seem to be frayed.

Tweed is in!

I bought this long tweed jacket to wear to an on-site job interview on top of the Maddi Tie Neck Top in poinsettia red and the Parrish Bi-Stretch Crop Flare Pants in Evening Sand. It was a classy, professional, confident outfit. The pink of the jacket has a red hue to it, which made it pair well with the Maddi. It is thick, lined, and has gold tinsel throughout. It does run fairly big so I suggest sizing down. I will be wearing this long jacket on repeat to more career development events and to work.

it is a beautiful jacket, and I really wanted to love it. However, it has a lot of sparkle to it and isn't suitable to wear in the business world. True to other reviews it does run big and boxy which is fine but you should size down. It was returned

Way too big

I was really looking forward to this jacket. However, this jacket is HUGE. I am size 00 with Lilly, and size 00 looks like 4 or 6. It's a very pretty jacket and I loved the color, but the alteration would be very expensive due to the structure of the jacket. Sleeves are also really big and flumpy. So I returned it. I wish Lilly had more consistent sizing. Some dresses are way too big (especially special occasion dresses) and I have nowhere to go down! I would pay for hemming, but not for total alteration. For your reference, I'm 5'2'', 100lbs. If you are size 00 or 0, you will find this jacket too big on you.
