Daise Stretch Maxi Dress

When I saw this dress I knew I had to have it! I agree with other reviews that there is little stretch in this dress. I also agree with sizing up. I’m typically a 12/L in Lilly. I ordered a 16 and am glad I did. I carry most of my weight in my hips and bum. I was worried a 14 would be too tight across my hips. I size 16 was just right, it wasn’t tight at all and loose enough to flatter. I was worried the top would be too large, I had planned to have it altered if need be. I think I can get away with it, it is a bit larger but not obvious and unflattering. I’m 5’7” and can probably take an inch off the bottom to wear flats but will just plan to wear with a small heel.

The "stretch" in the name is very misleading; there is almost no, if not any, stretch in this dress. I am 5'4" and 140 lbs and hold weight in my stomach and had to size up to a 10. The sizing is unfortunately odd, too; the bust, shoulders and neck are entirely too large to the point where I will have to have them taken in, whereas the stomach is tighter but will be fine with thin shapewear. Short/average girls: be prepared to hem off almost a foot of fabric on the bottom of this dress. All this being said, I am thrilled that Lilly put out something that looks like their original fashions, and I can't wait to wear this when we're allowed to be social again.

It was an Easter gift for my daughter and she loved it. We live in Florida and she loves Lilly Pulitzer dresses. Dress has Asian flair with long slits and lots of white trim work.

Purchased for an event coming up and the minute it tried it on I knew this was “The Dress”!

I really love so much about this dress! A few details: it run a size smaller than I usually take and it more more fitted than most Lilly dresses. The length was barely okay and I wish there was a bit more under the hem in case I wanted to wear it with heels. I love the monochromatic color and the scale of the print combined with the applied details for a streamlined look and vertically line to direct the eye. The fabric is a bit heavier but perfect if you want to finished look with less body wear - I doubt any seams of sunlight would be making this transparent. I just LOVE the level of detail in the dress and it seems like a collectible vintage piece. Depending on accessories or a wrap you can pull from white, petal pink or hot pink depending on which way you would like to style it. I am glad I ordered it ..definitely a keeper! Thank you, Lilly! Keep the monochromatic colors coming for a more subtle option...love love.

We had a Nissan get away in Maui last week and I saved this one for the last big party. I am 5’10 and a smaller curvaceous women, and it looked like it was made just for me. They can make this style everyday in different patterns and I would buy every one of them. Also, the head Nissan man of the getaway, made a point to tell my husband what a lucky man he was.

Beautiful dress... I’m 5’11” I am just able to wear flats with this dress- just barely- it’s long and I’m tall. So my short friends will need tall shoes or need to hem. I ordered a size 14... I’m 5’11 160 pounds- I’m normally a size 10-12 but the 14 fits - I can sit comfortably and my belly isn’t squeezed. It’s nice fabric. My daughter and I are happy.
