Pretty pens, but the ink was erratic

I bought the colored pen set for my wife to go with the Lilly agenda I buy for her every December. She loves the pens' looks, but unfortunately the ink in all three pens is erratic and skips while you write. This one, fortunately inexpensive, is disappointing.

Cute Pens with questionable points/ink

I love the look, however, the ink is not consitant when writing. At first, I thought it might be the paper (semi-gloss/satin finish), but no matter what type of paper I write on, the ink stops sporadically. I also thought maybe it was just one pen, but it was all of them. When it does write, the color is amazing and they write smoothly... when the ink is flowing. just for additional information, I also thought it could be the angle of the pen that caused the pen to stop writing, but that was not the issue either. The cost is not a lot but I did pay money and expect the goods to be quality. My review allowed for three stars due to the vibrant colors of the pen and when they do write, the ink is very nice also. Two stars taken away because of the inconsistancy with the ink flow.

Excellent Buy

So happily surprised with my purchase. For the low cost this purchase was a steal. These Lilly pens were bought as gifts and they were so impressed by them. I feel confident any buyer would feel the same.
