I ordered a 00 and a 0 because I was concerned the 00 would be too snug. I was surprised and disappointed that the 00 was too big, although I’ve always been able to wear size 0 and size 2 in Lilly Pulitzer dresses.

Exactly what I wanted for my holiday party

I bought this in two sizes, per some suggestions on fit from the other reviews. I am normally a size 4 but the 2 was the perfect fit....I think it definitely runs big. This is a very flattering dress and it is extremely lightweight, which I love.

Scratchy fabric

I thought this dress had sequins for the sparkle, but it was actually some sort of shiny substance all over. Where it touched my skin, it was scratchy. The shape looked very boxy and did nothing for me. Returned it.

I had little hopes for this dress as a lot of dresses are always tight in the bust for my 36DDD and then huge at the bottom. I am usually a size 12 or 14 in Lilly dresses with sometime those sizes too small. I took a chance and ordered my normal dress size 14 as I loved the dress on line. I don't think I have ever had a more fitting dress! It is perfect in the bust, flows nice for my young 65 year old not perfect body. The length is perfect for my 5'9" frame, a few inches above the knee. And my husband says I look HOT in it. Can't wait to wear it to a formal wedding coming up. I am so excited about this dress. Lilly you made my day when this came in the mail!

I bought this dress to wear to a December wedding. I’m a curvy petite who usually wears the Ophelia or Kristen styles in Lilly, size medium. The 10 in this dress was perfect and the length was to the knee which is great for a woman in her 70’s. . The sleeves however were much too long and had to be tailored to fit. Otherwise the fabric is beautiful and the style is great. Very happy with this purchase. Happy with this purchase.

Why do they make so few larger sizes

It is so clear that large sized sold out in a weeks time and that the smaller sized will stay till after holiday season. Frustrating!

I ordered this dress for an upcoming wedding. It is just beautiful. I’m in my early 60’s. It’s lose enough to cover what I want but does not fit like a shapeless sack. There are tiny pleats which gives it some shape. The sleeves are so fun and festive and the sparkle on the material is enough to make it a festive dress without being overdone. I’m 5’4” so the length is longer on me than shown on the model and the V neck is deep enough but still covers. This is the first Lily item I’ve ever owned and I am very pleased with this purchase.
