This was the ugliest dress I've ever tried on. Fabric felt cheap; thin and a scratchy finish and the gold color looked garish. I have many dresses from Lilly that I love sadly I won't be adding this one to my wardrobe.

Very Pretty Dress

I purchased the black onyx color Cleme Silk Dress in a size 8 and it was snug in the chest area smushing the girls (thought it would be fine given the reviews stating how big it ran) but it fit in the hips. So I sized up to a size 10 and it fits perfectly in the chest and now flows a little more waist down but still hits just above the knee. I'm 5'2", 34 C/D and 145 lbs. So if you have an hourglass figure, I'd think twice about sizing down. It is even more pretty in person and cannot wait to wear it to a wedding this weekend.

Perfect style for so many occasions

I wore this to an evening wedding reception in early October and it was just perfect! I received so many compliments on i. The style is trendy enough to give a 65 year old a fresh look without looking “too young.” ;) I’m 5’2” and 149 lbs and the size 8 fit perfectly, coming just above the knee. I styled with gold platform sandals and a gold bag.

Love this dress

I first bought this dress 2 years ago in the black and silver and I love it! It is super comfortable and I got many compliments on it. I then ordered it in the kelly green with gold accents and it was exactly the same! It is super comfortable and not scratchy at all. Finally, it came out in navy blue and again, I bought that one! I am wearing it to a wedding in October. If they release it in a red or pink, I will buy it, and certainly hope they do!

Fabric & Fit are disappointing

A little disappointed with the quality of the fabric. The edges of the v neck appear “raw” where the fabric folds where there are the gold shimmers. The fit is also off- my normal size 6 is way too large. Going to try a 4, but if the v neck has the same problem then I’ll be returning.

The material was SO itchy and it shed everywhere! I only tried it on once in my bedroom and the little pieces of gold textile were all over my bedroom, bathroom, and clothes that I changed back into. I can't imagine shedding all night long at an event. The fit of this was also terrible, not inclusive sizing at all and did not look good on me.

I bought this for a wedding and sadly I’m returning it. I am 5’3-125 pounds & ordered the 4 . The dress was HUGE on me and hung like a sack. The sleeves were itchy too.

Curvy size 10 in love with the fit of this dress!

Beautiful and understated. The amount of sparkle and shine is perfect if you want a statement dress without too much bling. The fit is true to size. I’m a curvy 10 and the dress accentuates the chest without being too low while also being loose enough in the hips/ thigh area to cover and fit with a little flow. You can dress it up with gold strappy heels or dress down with a gold wedge. The sleeves are sheer so appropriate for warm climate cocktail or add a wrap and your good for colder temps. I purchased the navy and LOVE the combo with the gold. I’m 5’4” and the dress is the perfect length hitting about 3” above the knee.

I just got this dress for a special event and it's perfect. I read the reviews and ordered true to size. It is very flattering and love the color. I am bigger on top and smaller on the bottom so I ordered a size 10. It is very flattering and comfortable in the mid section. I am 5'3" 150 lbs.
