Dive In: To our NYC Summer Soirée with WhoWhatWear

Let’s dive into our summer soirée co-hosted with our fashionable friends at WhoWhatWear. We may have been in Manhattan, but the lush flora and fauna at the Times Square Edition Hotel transported guests to another island—Palm Beach, of course. Come inside with us for the full scoop!

Guests were offered a place to lounge and shake off the NYC streets, a boho-chic hammock swing amongst lush palms with pops of print was the perfect recipe for relaxation. 

Then guests made their way over to our Lilly print artists, who were painting colorful, custom fashion illustrations of Lilly. How did it work? They chose three colors from our summer palette that spoke to their summer essence. Then our artists translated that palette to an illustration of Lilly wearing a one-of-a-kind printed shift dress. Each guest received a Pagoda Frame for their keepsake. Mine was all about shining bright, being up for adventure, and warmth. Which colors would you choose?

Up next, we served three signature cocktails: The Lilly Spritz, The Optimist, and New Beginnings, which was poured with Lilly x Natalie’s Juice. Based on name, which one speaks to you? Hors d'oeuvres including lobster rolls, shrimp cocktail, and burrata with seasonal fruits were served to guests on Lilly x Recess paddles (creative entertaining with a wink, just like Lilly always did!).

As we moved outside to the most perfect summer night (thank you, Mother Nature), our printed pillows, candles, and tabletop adorned the outdoor seating and beckoned guests to Chloe, our talented tarot card reader. She had decks of hand-painted Lilly tarot cards that shared the path of what this summer will bring to you.

Afterward, it was time for our podcast event, so guests were invited to head inside, freshen their drinks, and grab another bite (yes please to the key lime pie). Our very fashionable, witty, and engaging podcast hosts were Who What Wear editors Jasmine Fox-Suliaman wearing the Calina linen dress and Anna LaPlaca in the Iconic Lilly Sadie Shift romper. They discussed the timeless relevance of Lilly Pulitzer, the iconic shift dress, and summer trend takes in this podcast episode. Love what you heard?
