Introducing Part 1 of Lilly x Nick Mele... with 'Breakdown' (2025)

Nick Mele is a lifestyle, portraiture, fashion, and interiors photographer who leans into a whimsical take on American luxury with every click of the lens. Nick’s passion lies in his love for fabulous interiors and the people who inhabit those spaces. His images have been said to evoke feelings of both old-world glamour and modern irreverence. Often coined 'the modern-day Slim Aarons,' Nick shot our 2025 Reserve Collection and Men's Stuff Revival at the iconic Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens, along with a very special Fine Art Series.

Lilly's relationship with Nick goes back years and years... Nick has been an iconic photographer of the brand, helping us launch some of our customers' favorite collaboration campaigns and capturing Palm Beachers in our favorite local spots.

Yet, one of Nick's favorite subjects is his own family, and it’s not unusual to see him on the other side of the lens as well. This is why we commissioned Nick and his wife Molly to launch an exclusive fine art piece for Lilly's collaboration with Slim Aarons this past November, entitled "Breakdown."

Nick's playful spirit speaks to the irreverent style aesthetic Lilly is known for—clothing that doesn't take itself too seriously, peek-a-boo hidden animals, unexpected color combinations, and our founder and Nick's unified love for barefoot elegance. Nick is often found shooting his fashion photography barefoot and carefree; his wife Molly can be spotted pushing the mini 'Isetta' car in bare feet for this series as well.
