I own these shorts in multiple colors from past years in a size 8 that I still wear. Needed to go up 2 sizes for the same fit in the navy color this year. And the pockets seemed smaller and oddly placed. Definitely not true to size and at least that color runs small.

This shorts are amazing for casual dress and daily use.
can be to the beach as casual dress up to go out.
Fabric is fresh and clear
I'm size 4 but on shorts size 2 runs perfect
they stretch minor with use

I have been looking for a perfect white short for summer for some time ... living in FL those jean shorts are too warm for the summer ... this short is perfect for beach, weekend and cruise because it is light, textured, and dressy so it pairs well with a breezy flowery top for a romantic stroll on the beach ...

Great shorts

I am 12 and I got a 500 dollar gift card to Lilly Pulitzer this Christmas! I have bought a lot of the Finn tops and they go great with these shorts! The stretch in the shorts is great for moving your body! I bought the onyx, white, and the navy blue. They have a great fit, (not trying to be picky) but sometimes it can be a little bit hard to match this up with anything because of the gold button. These were also pretty pricy for just a pair of shorts, but then again it is designer so I guess it is pretty fair.

I love all the Callahan shorts I have and these white shorts are a nice addition. The white is nice and bright and not cream color. I agree with the other reviews that these shorts run a bit small so if you are in between size you might want to size up. The jacquard wave doesn't have a lot of stretch or give to the fabric. I’m 5.2 and 126 and tried on both the 4 and 6 and ended up with the 6. The fabric is a bit thin so think twice about the color underwear you’re wearing. ;)

Hello Lilly lovers! These shorts are so cute! The navy is that perfect navy that pairs well with other Lilly items. I bought a size 8 and will be sending them back for a size 10. This is my own fault for not ordering up a couple of sizes up from what I am used to ordering in the Lilly Buttercup STRETCH shorts. I normally wear a size 6 in the butterup stretch. I am 5'2 147 pounds and carry most of my weight in my abdomen area. I hope this helps!

I also have these shorts in the buttercup cut and find this style to be tighter so I recommend sizing up. They are slightly see threw in the white which is another reason I recommend sizing up. Overall they are great and I like the texture!

I love all my Lilly shorts and especially a good white pair. The sizing is correct on these but they were see through. Going to return and order the navy pair as I like the cut and overall look.

I truly love the way these shorts look and fit! I bet I have every color Lilly has made. The white shorts I bought last weekend is considered a "spare pair" in case I get the other pair dirty. These shorts go with any and all of Lilly's tops.

Run SO small!

I grabbed a pair of these while at the Lilly store in Disney Springs. I didn't even think of trying them on since I'm pretty true to size on the Callahan's. Much to my surprise, these fit horribly. I could barely get them to zip up! I thought i'd give them a try anyway since they normally stretch after you've worn them for a little bit, but not even that worked! I'm pretty bummed since now there's nothing I can do. I love Callahan shorts, but there's something different about the manufacturing of these. Get ready to size 1-2 sizes up!

I read the reviews and they were right. They run small so I ordered a size up. They fit ok but definitely not like the regular Callahan short. Not nearly as comfortable. For that reason, I am returning.

Quality changed. Not true to size

I own a pair of these shorts from 2 years ago and love them so much that wanted to order a new pair of the same ones. The new ones run way smaller, I’m a 10 and these fit tight. Even the leg opening is smaller. Quality had changed, they are see through and fabric looks cheap since it’s thinner. Sent them back. Don’t recommend this item at all.

Not true sizing

I love the Callahan short and was excited to have a true navy but these shorts are NOT true I’m sizing. Not sure what’s going on but these don’t measure up. All my shorts with Lilly are a 4, I had to go up to a size 8 in these and then they just looked wrong. Quality control needs to get involved and be consistent with sizing!
